Werner Ignaz Jans (* February 14, 1941 in Winterthur; † October 28, 2022) grew up near Ulm and Winterthur. He lived and worked in CH 8412 Riet (Neftenbach, Switzerland) and IT-15012 Bistagno (Piedmont, Italy). He was a Swiss sculptor, etcher, draftsman, and art educator. His work includes sculptures, reliefs, drawings, prints, ink drawings, woodcuts, square designs, and architectural art.
